SIMON Cowell is tipped to become Sir Simon in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.
The music mogul’s odds of scooping a knighthood have been slashed by bookies to just 11-8 after a punters placed a flurry of bets.
Betway’s Alan Alger said: “Love him or hate him, the betting suggests Simon Cowell could become one of the country’s new knights.”
Britain’s Got Talent co-star David Walliams said Cowell “thinks he should have a knighthood”.
The Little Britain star previously joked his pal was “a bit peeved” Ant and Dec were OBEs. He said: “Simon thinks he should have a knighthood. I don’t know what he thinks he’s done.
“What he doesn’t realise is you have to do something positive, you can’t just spread evil and think that you’ll get one.”
The prediction comes after pianist Tokio Myers beat magician Issy Simpson at the weekend to win this year’s BGT crown.
