WHEELIE SILLY SELFIE GETS BIKER NABBED
Rider’s 117mph hijinks
A BRAINLESS biker was nabbed by traffic police after he was spotted taking selfies at almost 120mph.
The reckless rider sped past horrified motorists on the M6, pulling wheelies and whipping out his mobile phone.
The 27-year-old’s antics were caught on camera and officers managed to pull him over near Stafford Services.
The Yamaha R6 biker, from Essex, was arrested immediately and will appear before magistrates.
In a string of tweets the Central Motorway Police Group said: “Shocking antics caught on the M6 today.
“Motorcyclist seen doing wheelies, no hands, standing up, speeding and even taking a selfie. Unacceptable.
“Driver stopped and dealt with for multiple offences all caught and recorded ® on police vehicle’s video for the magistrates to watch.
“This kind of behaviour should not be condoned, it will not be tolerated on the roads and riders will be dealt with accordingly.”
Drivers slammed the thug’s kamikaze behaviour. Branding the biker an “absolute t***”, Oliver Manly tweeted: “This has got to be the most reckless motorcyclist in Britain.”
And Lucy Parker said: “Glad he has been caught because he should not be on the roads. Idiot.”
Acting Sergeant Steve Millward, from CMPG, said: “This kind of behaviour on our motorways will not be tolerated. It is dangerous.
“This rider will now face a magistrate to explain his behaviour.”
