Russian jets ‘kill IS chief’
RUSSIA claimed last night their jets had “eliminated” Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Last week US-led coalition forces said they had killed al-Baghdadi.
Russia’s defence ministry said it was checking reports that the world’s most wanted terrorist was killed in an airstrike on a meeting of Isis leaders in Syria.
Drones were used to pinpoint the location before Russian jets launched an attack.
