SUICIDE bomber Salman Abedi’s body was so mangled he had to be identified by his teeth.
The 22-year-old terrorist’s remains were “severely disrupted” by the blast.
Abedi, right, blew himself up at an Ariana Grande gig at Manchester Arena, killing 22.
Officers matched his fingerprints to ones kept on file after he was arrested when he was 17. And crime scene investigators found a DNA match. The killer also had a scar on his right hand which matched one Abedi had.
Det Chief Insp David Warren told an inquest at Manchester Town Hall that Abedi detonated an “improvised explosive device” near an exit after the May 22 concert.
The blast “severely disrupted” Abedi’s body, and he died from multiple injuries.
Coroner Nigel Meadows adjourned the inquest until December 1.
