Nicki gets bad break

NICKI PEDERSEN has pulled out of next month’s Danish Grand Prix amid fears he suffered a broken neck.

Specialists spotted a suspected fracture in his vertebra but Pedersen faces another scan in five weeks’ time to determine the extent of the damage.

The three-time world champion, 40, has now withdrawn from his home GP rather than risk further injury.
