Brit held on Costa

POLICE have arrested a British fugitive suspected of trying to kill his partner by stabbing her in the back during a row at their home on Spain’s Costa Blanca.

David James Grundy, 53, from Bolton, was held on suspicion of attempted homicide in Benidorm yesterday.

The injured woman, 42-year-old Nicola Anne Walker Houghton, is “serious” in hospital following an operation.
