I BUMPED into Fabio Capello at Frankfurt Airport last month following Manchester United’s Europa League triumph over Ajax in Stockholm.

Capello (right) had been at the same game to do some media work, which appeared to have become his main source of income.

That’s because he insisted he was retired and had no intention of returning to management at the ripe old age of 71.

But it seems multi-millionaires like Capello just can’t resist the lure of hard cash.

Within weeks of claiming he was finished in management, Capello has now signed a lucrative deal to take charge of Jiangsu Suning in China.

Capello managed some of the biggest clubs in the world, but since turning his hand to being an international boss with England in 2008, he has raked it in without achieving a damned thing.

It’s safe to assume he hasn’t gone to China for the challenge.
