Salah’s sale lift

Aidy takes South-ern comfort

- By GEORGE SCOTT

® LIVERPOOL are becoming increasingly confident of landing Mohamed Salah.

They remain in talks with Roma to sign the Egyptian winger but believe they have made a breakthrough.

The Reds are only prepared to pay £35m and although the Italian side are holding out for a bigger fee, they are set to relax their demands.

Former Chelsea wideman Salah wants to return to the Premier League, just a year after leaving the Blues on a permanent basis.

He has shone in Serie A and Kop boss Jurgen Klopp believes he can now star back in England.

Liverpool could recoup funds by selling Ryan Kent to Bournemouth for £6m. SLOVAKIA (4-1-4-1): ENGLAND (4-2-3-1): Ref: TV: ® from PAUL BROWN
