Pocket money lad’s big gesture

-

A SELFLESS boy of six has donated his pocket money to help the Grenfell Tower victims.

Generous Alfie Lindsey, of Hounslow, west London, visited the devastated flats yesterday.

He handed over a superhero-themed tin filled with more than £60 of his savings.

Dad Arthur said his son was moved to give his money to those in need after finding out about the tragedy on television.

As he accepted Alfie’s donation, Bishop of Kensington Graham Tomlin said: “It was absolutely amazing.

“It is just a little sign of the incredible outpouring of compassion there has been in London as a result of this.”
