DENIS Lawson is the latest big-name star to join the cast of telly’s top period drama.
Fans will see the Scottish actor in the new series as the Duke of Atholl.
Denis is famed for serious roles in hit shows including Bleak House and New Tricks.
Other stars joining Victoria for its second series include Dame Diana Rigg and Martin Compston.
Filming for Denis’s scenes are due to take place at Blair Castle in Perthshire, Scotland.
