CORRIE stars yesterday attended the “fabulous” funeral of a super-fan killed in the Manchester bombing.

Kym Marsh, 41, Helen Worth, 66, Jennie McAlpine, 33, and Antony Cotton, 41, joined hundreds of mourners paying tribute to Martyn Hett.

The 29-year-old PR manager was among 22 people killed by suicide bomber Salman Abedi, 22, after a concert by US star Ariana Grande at the Manchester Arena in May.

Martyn was a big Corrie fan and even had a Deirdre Barlow tattoo.

His coffin was adorned with a picture of his cat Emily Bishop – named after the character – photos of the cast and a Corrie street sign.

Mourners were asked to wear something “black and fabulous” and two plumed horses carried his body in a white carriage. Martyn’s idol Mariah Carey, 47, was among a number of celebrities to send a video message in tribute to him.

The diva said he was “shining down on us from heaven”.

Mourners wept as Martyn’s pal, Pop Idol winner Michelle McManus, 37, performed an emotional rendition of All This Time at the service in Stockport Town Hall.

So many attended that it was relayed outside via big screens.

Ariana’s song One Last Time – the final song played at the concert before the attack – was played as Martyn’s coffin was carried out.

His mum Figen said she was “gobsmacked” by the outpouring of love. “He will live on as an inspiration to people,’’ she added.
