BIG Brother’s Stephanie Davis has been quizzed by police after allegedly attacking her boyfriend Jeremy McConnell.

The ex-Hollyoaks star was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Stephanie and Jeremy were staying at a hotel while the actress works on Big Brother spin-off show Big Brother’s Bit On The Side.

She was taken to hospital last night after falling ill while being questioned at a north London police station.

A police spokesman later commented: “Her condition is not believed to be serious.”

Swollen

Jeremy was pictured leaving the Royal Chace Hotel in Enfield, north London, yesterday afternoon with black, swollen eyes, a cut on his nose and a bloodshot eye.

The 27-year-old tattooed Irish hunk was treated at the scene on Sunday night.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “Police in Enfield were called to a hotel on Sunday, July 2, following reports of an assault.

“Officers attended and arrested a 24-year-old suspect on suspicion of GBH.”

It is not believed the couple’s sixmonth-old son Caben-Albi was with them at the hotel.

Witnesses say the couple had been drinking at the Moon Under Water pub in Enfield before they argued outside and returned to the hotel separately.

The incident comes just one week after Jeremy fell off the wagon again and was spotted sleeping rough on a park bench following a boozy night out in London.

In March, he had vowed to quit alcohol for the sake of his relationship with Stephanie and Caben-Albi following a stint in rehab.

Jeremy is awaiting trial after he was charged with assaulting Stephanie earlier this year.

Representatives for both Stephanie and Jeremy refused to comment last night.
