IT’S time to get the party started – because Ibiza season is well and truly kicking off!

Party-mad Brits are flocking to the White Isle for sun, sea and all-night clubs. And celebs are getting in on the act too with stars including football ace Cristiano Ronaldo, actor Michael Fassbender and Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock spotted on the island in recent weeks. So what’s the appeal of this place and what’s happening there this year? The Daily Star is here to give you the lowdown in a week of special features.

First up – the clubs and parties getting us raving this season.

THE big story of 2016 was the closure of the legendary Space club after 30 years.

So the Ibiza faithful couldn’t wait to see what would take its place.

And this season, Hi Ibiza has opened its doors, boasting a world-class roster of DJs and a total makeover.

We’ll be bringing you our review of the new club later this week, but top parties include Martin Garrix presents Multiply on a Monday, Eric Prydz on a Tuesday and Black Coffee on Saturdays.

If you prefer your nights with a disco beat, you have to check out Glitterbox on Fridays at Hi, with its dancers, lasers and glitter cannons.

And the epic Sunday parties of We Love have been replaced by Hi Sundays, with Oliver Heldens holding a weekly residence this summer.

Across the road from Hi stands the mighty Ushuaia, cementing Playa d’en Bossa’s place as Ibiza’s No1 party hotspot.

The hotel with its central outdoor area hosts events every night, with David Guetta bringing BIG on a Monday, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike on a Tuesday and the Limited Edition party on Wednesdays.

We checked out the Limited Edition opening with Hardwell, and it promises to be a big party.

The ever-popular ANTS still takes over Saturday, while Kygo is the main draw on Sundays.

And Ushuaia’s neighbour, Hard Rock Hotel, will have you mistyeyed about shoulder pads and giant mobile phones with its Children Of The 80s event on Fridays. Amnesia still boasts a strong line-up with Cream returning to its regular Thursday night slot, accompanied by Sven Väth’s Monday Cocoon bash and the popular, colourful Spanish party Elrow lighting up Saturdays. And if you’re quick, you can catch one of the biggest nights of the season as Carl Cox plays the second of two Ibiza dates at Privilege tomorrow. Incredibly Paris Hilton marks five years in Ibiza with her Sunday night Foam & Diamonds party while it’s worth checking out Together on Tuesdays, which boasts artists including Chase & Status and Rudimental on its line-up. Pacha in Ibiza Town is still catering for the upmarket clubber with a

even-day schedule. Martin Solveig ules Wednesdays with My House, while Mosaic by Maceo is back for round two n Tuesdays. The happy hippies still take charge on Monday with the groovy 60s night lower Power, while there’s also strong howing from David Guetta on Thursays for his traditional Famous night, ob Sinclar on Saturdays and Solomun n Sundays. DC10 still caters for the most hardcore ubbers with day party Circoloco on Mondays and Paradise on Wednesdays. Over in San Antonio, Eden has faced tough few years but 2017 sees the trongest line-up of parties in years. Go wild with the folks from Pukka Up t Tropical Wonderland, spicing up aturdays with amazing decorations nd lashings of face paint. And if you head out on the sunset boat arty, you can buy a package to include ntry into Tropical Wonderland. There’s another new night in Taste he Punch, the brainchild of two brothrs from Luton who have moved out to Ibiza this season to run the Friday night sessions. Finishing off a strong weekend showing at Eden is Sunday’s Defected, back after a one-year break in a club which would appear to be a perfect fit for the night’s strong Brit fanbase.

If you want to party with the young Brits enjoying a season out on the White Isle, head to Magna Carta x Faction, the worker-oriented party taking over Thursdays at Eden.

Also popular with Brits is Sankeys, which has the return of The Redlight and Do Not Sleep with Abode lighting up Sundays. Ocean Beach Ibiza is also fly- ing the flag for the day party – check out Hed Kandi, Kisstory or Ministry of Sound. Or take a stroll to Benimussa Park with the Zoo Project, a Saturday staple. Craig David is your man at Ibiza Rocks with his T5 Pool Party on a Thursday, while Sundays hosts Cuckoo Land. Plus there’s a couple of new venues. Down the road from Pacha is Heart Ibiza, which has been open for a few years but is cranking things up this year, hosting the famous La Troya night. And there’s a new club in the boutique Hotel Garbi in Playa d’en Bossa, with a focus on urban music. So whatever your style, get out there and party!
