Styles sweary movie debut
HARRY Styles has revealed his potty mouth is the reason for his debut film’s 12A rating.
The pop star turned movie actor accidentally dropped two F-bombs during the filming of Dunkirk as he was genuinely frightened.
But director Christopher Nolan was so convinced by Harry’s natural reaction to the horrors of war he decided to leave one in.
The singer’s expletive tipped the film from PG to the more adult 12A category.
Harry, who joked the achievement ® made him “feel really cool”, said: “Chris makes this world that makes you react so naturally.
“You do not feel like you have to act that much as he makes it really instinctive.”
He added: “And you get carried away. He makes it easy to be immersed in it.”
The former One Direction star, 23, says working on the Hollywood blockbuster, with stars such Peaky Blinders heartthrob Cillian Murphy, was as exciting as playing in front of a full stadium. But Harry is not ready to turn his back on music after releasing a hit debut solo album in May.
He said: “I cannot say I have really thought about that too much.
“When I heard about this movie I felt I would have been really excited to watch it and I felt very lucky to be involved in something I thought would be amazing.
“Getting to watch it I feel very proud of it.”
Dunkirk, which tells of the evacuation of Allied troops trapped in northern France, also stars Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh and Mark Rylance.
It will be in UK cinemas from Friday.
