Charlie hearing delayed
TODAY’S court hearing in the Charlie Gard case has been delayed.
The baby’s parents face two days of High Court evidence which could decide the fate of their brain-damaged son.
A judge had been scheduled to start the hearing at 10am today.
But the case has now been re-listed and is scheduled to start at 2pm.
Lawyers have given no explanation for the change.
On Friday a barrister for Great Ormond Street Hospital told parents Chris Gard and Connie Yates that a report on the 11-monthold boy’s latest scan made for “sad reading”.
