MISFIT NASRI ON WAY OUT

- By JEREMY CROSS

SAMIR NASRI has become a Manchester City outcast.

The French star, 30, was a shock inclusion in Pep Guardiola’s squad for their pre-season US tour.

Nasri spent last season on loan at Sevilla after being told he was no longer wanted. City are desperate to get the £170,000-a-week midfielder off the wage bill.

And Starsport understands that Nasri is now an unpopular figure in the dressing room.

A source close to the squad said: “Some of the players don’t understand why Nasri is even here.

“He has an arrogant attitude and doesn’t ® appear to care. He knows he will be leaving and he’s turning out to be someone who shouldn’t be on the trip. The club can’t wait to get rid of him.” City new-boy Danilo (left) says the lure of working with Guardiola was the reason he moved to the Etihad. The Brazil fullback, 26, completed his £27m move from Real Madrid yesterday on a five-year deal and said: “I am very, very happy to be joining. There has been strong interest from other clubs but it has always been my ambition to play for Pep Guardiola.”
