DOM & JESS TWIN TATTS

Blokes warned on steroid use

- By HELEN FREEMAN

LOVE Island couple Jess Shears and Dom Lever have shown their ink-credible devotion to each other by getting matching tattoos.

The pair both got two palm trees inside a heart etched onto their arms.

Romantic Dom’s design has a letter J next to it while Jess has his initial.

The brunette beauty – who has been dating Dom for two months after they met in the ITV2 villa – shared a pic with her 1.1million Instagram followers.

She posted: “Giving ® Dom a tour of Devon – We may or may not be getting tattoos...”

Later she added: “So me and Dom have just finished with my babe tats at Divine Ink.”

The hunk boasted: “Smashed it, three hours session.”

The designs were done by Jess’s pal Tess, who works at Divine Ink in Totnes, Devon.

The tattooist wrote on her Facebook page: “Matching Tats? Quite a commitment, hey?” TENS of thousands of young British men are abusing steroids to get the Love Island look.

The Home Office has found 20,000 more blokes are dosing up on anabolic steroids. And experts are blaming body beautiful shows like Love Island for the “perfect” image it celebrates.

Ian Hamilton, of York University, said: “Most people agree these young men and women were picked because of who they are. All of them were fairly toned and muscular.

“I am not suggesting the contestants use steroids, but if you are a young man who is not as toned as you want to be, you might watch and think being that way helps you pull or be more popular.”

Meanwhile, sales of male grooming products – including tanning lotion and “manscara” – have soared after the show. Alex Dalley, of menonly make-up firm MMUK, said Love Island had been “fantastic for business”.
