Unlike some stars, when Cheryl fell pregnant last year and was seen out and about clearly showing off a baby bump, she never once confirmed that she was expecting which sparked endless speculation.

On last night’s Celebrity Big Brother, Sarah hinted that the Geordie babe liked to play games and control the media in a bid to get the maximum attention.

When X Factor star Amelia Lily mentioned that she thought Cheryl was “private”, the singer told her: “She just knows how to work it when she wants to.

“When she wants to be seen she is, and when she doesn’t, she makes sure she isn’t.

“Like with the whole baby thing. She just plans things meticulously. She’s savvy, I’d give her that.”

Sarah also confessed she was jealous of Cheryl and Girls Aloud pal Kimberley Walsh as they are now both mums.

She added: “I do miss them but we are all grown up now. Most of them are getting married and having kids which is just what I want too.” Meanwhile, she and her CBB boyfriend Chad Johnson had another fall out when he suggested “capitalising” on their romance with magazine deals when the show ends.

But she hit the roof and told him bluntly: “Couples photo shoots? I don’t do that. I don’t capitalise.

“My personal life has always been private. I don’t want to publicise this.”

Last night the pair were seen enjoying yet another kissing session.
