FIGHT OVER LAST PIE
FOOTBALL fans started a mass brawl over the last pie in a club’s shop.
A hungry Nottingham Forest supporter began shouting at a fellow fan as he nabbed the final pastry before he could get to it.
Clutching a £20 note in his left fist, the rival began raining blows on the gobby bloke with his other hand.
The dramatic bust-up was caught on camera while fans queued during Saturday’s 2-0 home Championship defeat at the hands of Leeds United.
A bystander filmed the pie war, which happened during half-time.
According to witnesses, the fracas developed as the hungry fan saw the pie was about to get snapped up. The dispute led to a right old crust-up with blows exchanged in a mass melee.
Video footage of the incident shows a portly Forest fan, wearing black, advising his rival to “just f***ing leave it” before receiving a punch.
The pie brawlers were held back by pals and told to “leave it”.
During the scuffle another bemused bloke emerged with half a pint of lager poured over him.
The attacker was heard to shout at the mouthy fan: “Don’t bully me.”
A bystander tells him: “Don’t worry about it, mate. He really isn’t f***ing worth it.”
The fate of the pie is unknown.
