KATE FLOP FEAR OVER NEW TOUR
Fresh blow as only 20% of tour’s flogged
KATE Price fled Twitter after being ridiculed over her tour as it was revealed ticket sales have flopped.
The glamour model looks set to be greeted by rows of empty seats at some venues for An Audience With Katie Price.
Fewer than 200 tickets had last night been sold for a show at the Theatre Royal in her home city of Brighton.
The venue can hold an audience of nearly 1,000. Other shows in Stoke, Liverpool, Manchester, Wimbledon, Birmingham and Folkestone had similar poor sales.
In a desperate bid to stimulate interest, Kate tried to launch a Q&A session on Twitter. But she gave up after being met with a barrage of abuse.
Woes
She wrote hopefully: “Hi guys. What question do you want to know on my upcoming tour?’’
One writer asked: “Why don’t you keep your private life private and try and concentrate on making your marriages work?’’
Another wrote spitefully: “Why are you doing a tour?? What’s your talent?? #justsaying.’’
A third asked: “Why do people pay to listen to s **t about your life?”
Kate, 39, who was yesterday promoting teeth whitening powder on Facebook, did not tweet again.
Her tour woes round off a miserable few days for the mother-of-five.
Fans slammed her after she shared a video of daughter Princess in which the 10-year-old was wearing long fake purple nails.
She then announced she was divorcing third husband Kieran Hayler, 30.
