SATURDAYS star Mollie King has vowed to sex up this year’s Strictly.

The singer will unleash her X-rated side on the dance floor with her raunchy rumba.

Mollie, the bookies’ favourite to win, has also hinted there will inevitably be talk of a backstage romance.

The babe is single after breaking up with model David Gandy last year.

The 30-year-old said: “I can’t wait to find out who my partner is, to be honest. We’re going to be spending so much time with them, I hope we get on really well. I’m sure we will.

“There are always rumours, hopefully I won’t be getting any of those!

“The salsa and rumba could help bring out a more sexy side of me. “I feel like that needs a lot of work.” Mollie is following in bandmate Frankie Bridge’s footsteps after she finished runner-up in 2014.

Mollie added: “People will assume I’ve been to stage school and been training since I was three, but I’ve never been to stage school and never had a dance class in my life.

“The Saturdays gives me some performance experience but most of our routines were ones fans could copy. They weren’t technical. “There is so much to learn.” Fans already fear some contestants will struggle to keep up with others who are used to learning routines.

Former JLS hunk Aston Merrygold is famous for his breakdancing and backflips.

But he has claimed everyone is “in the same boat”.

Aston said yesterday: “This type of dancing is alien to me. I’ve never done a class, I’ve never trained.”

Former X Factor champ Alexandra Burke admits she did street and contemporary dance at school, while TV’s Debbie McGee had ballet and tap lessons.

Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins has been taught before by Strictly’s professional dancer Brendan Cole on TV’s Dancing With Sky’s Stars in 2013.

And comedian Brian Conley has danced in West End shows such as Me And My Girl.

Strictly launches on Saturday with hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman on BBC One at 7pm.
