WILLS and Kate are expecting a “Wimbledon baby” after conceiving their third child during the tennis tournament. But once again she has been hit by severe morning sickness.

WILLS and Kate are expecting a Wimbledon baby after conceiving their third child at the height of the tennis tournament, it is believed.

The loved-up royals yesterday announced that the Duchess of Cambridge was pregnant.

Kate is a huge tennis fan and this year was her first time being patron of the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club. A Palace source said: “The dates seem to tie up and they both have so much fun during Wimbledon.”

News of the baby joy broke following Princess Kate, 35, being struck down with severe morning sickness.

The pregnancy has led to Kate being under 24-hour watch at Kensington Palace as she suffers from hyperemesis gravidarum, a debilitating pregnancyrelated illness, for the third time.

Yesterday, the princess was forced to pull out of an engagement at London’s Hornsey Road Children’s Centre.

A statement from Kensington Palace said: “Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child. “The Queen and both their families are delighted with the news.”

The new baby will join siblings Prince George, four, who starts school on Thursday, and Princess Charlotte, two.

And the arrival, who will become fifth in line to the throne, will bump Prince Harry, 32, to sixth place.

Yesterday, Harry said the news was “fantastic” adding that he was “very, very happy for them”.

Asked how his sister-inlaw was doing, the prince replied: “I haven’t seen her for a while but I think she’s OK.”

Ladbrokes spokesman Jessica Bridge said the early runners for names were Alice at 7-1, Arthur at 10-1, Victoria at 10-1, Alexandra at 12-1, and Albert and Philip at 14-1.

Jessica added: “The early money suggests punters would love to see Kate and Wills welcome another little girl into their family, who is called Alice.”

Singer Cheryl Tweedy has sent congratulations.

The 33-year-old pop star tweeted: “Awww congratulations to Will and Kate on their baby news !! 3rd royal baba on its way (sic)”
