REALITY TELLY A PROPER JOB!

- By JERRY LAWTON jerry.lawton@dailystar.co.uk

BECOMING a reality TV star is now a legitimate modern career choice, say experts.

Landing a role in shows such as Love Island, Towie and Big Brother is an easier route to fame than becoming an actor or singer.

And contestants who are a hit with viewers can earn millions. TV presenters Alison Hammond, Vicky Pattison and ® Mark Wright all launched their showbiz careers on popular reality shows.

Amy Childs is rumoured to be worth £5million after finding fame on Towie.

Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt is reported to have earned £1m since winning I’m A Celebrity in 2016.

And Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies look set to carve out lucrative careers after finding romance on ITV2’s Love Island this year.

Edward Hopkins from PR agency Nusic London said: “Reality TV has become more of a career choice than being an actor or singer.

“Gone are the days where people say you are famous for doing nothing.

“Reality TV is now seen as a legitimate career.”
