THE new batch of Britain’s model hopefuls get ready for their first TV close-up.

This year the Next Top Model hopefuls include Martha Miller – an outspoken painter and decorator from Brighton – and Celtic beauty Shaunagh Slattery, who hopes to wow judges with her fiery red locks. Head judge Abbey Clancy said: “I’m so excited for the new series. There is a lot of potential in this new group of girls who are all different shapes, sizes, ages and background. Viewers will really get a chance to see how they develop and grow in confidence.

“Put any 13 girls in a house together and it’s going to cause drama!’’ ¬ÊIt starts on October 19 at 9pm on Lifetime.
