BABAR AZAM smashed 86 off 52 balls to lead Pakistan to a 20-run T20 victory in their first home international for eight years in Lahore.

Pakistan haven’t played on home soil since a terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team in 2009.

They saw off a World XI skippered by South Africa’s Faf Du Plessis in the first of a three-match series.
