RICHARLISON likes to do his talking on the pitch and he had a deadly last word against the sickly Swans.

Watford’s Brazilian kid hardly manages a word of English in the dressing room, but he’s fast becoming the talk of Marco Silva’s squad.

After seeing the 20-year-old Samba star smash home the winner, Watford defender Adrian Mariappa revealed Richarlison is a silent but smiling assassin.

Mariappa said: “He’s still brushing up on his English, but he’s fitted into the group straight away.

“I’m not teaching him English but he’s working on it and he’s always smiling. He’s got character about him and his age doesn’t seem to matter.

“He’s only 20 but he plays with a lot of personality and the boys really love him.

Impact

“He’s had a great start, especially for a young lad, and he put a real shift in for the team. He’s got a great attitude for a young kid. He showed composure for his goal and I was delighted he got the winner.”

Richarlison’s 90th-minute winner was his second Premier League goal in four games since his £11.5m move from Italian club Fluminense in July.

This is the first time Watford have won three successive away games in the top flight. The victory underlines the impact Portuguese boss Silva is having after he jumped ship from relegated Hull at the end of last season.

“He’s very thorough in all his details,” added Mariappa, who was rock solid at the back after Tammy Abraham had replied to Andre Gray’s opening goal for Watford.

“We all know what the gaffer wants from us and it’s about going out on the pitch and executing that.

“He’s definitely up there with the best
