KIM WARNS: THIS IS WAR
N Korea ‘will gun down US aircraft’
NORTH KOREA last night accused US president Donald Trump of “declaring war”.
Kim Jong-un’s foreign minister warned that American planes are now a target.
Ri Yong Ho also threatened that North Korea would take aim at aircraft even if they didn’t enter his country’s airspace.
Speaking in New York, he said: “The whole world should clearly remember it was the US who first declared war on our country. “Since the United States declared war on our country, we will have every right to make countermeasures.
“These include the right to shoot down United States strategic bombers, even when they are not inside the airspace border of our country.”
The minister had earlier blasted Trump in a statement at the UN calling him a “mentally deranged person full of megalomania” on a “suicide mission”.
He added: “Now we are finally only a few steps away from the final gate of completion of the state nuclear force.”
Last night White House spokeswoman Sarah Saunders denied the United States had declared war and called the suggestion “absurd”.
After Ri’s address, the Trump tweeted he and Kim “won’t be around much longer”.
Two US Air Force B-1B Lancer bombers then flew off the coast of North Korea in a show of force.
