A BRIT car salesman who claimed his wife choked to death during a sex game has admitted killing her.
Warren Lyttle throttled his wife with a phone cable.
Lyttle, 52, told a court he killed Lisa Jane, 49, in a drunken row about money. The expat told a court in Palma, Mallorca: “I lost my wife who was my best friend. And I lost a lot of people who were friends.’’
The mum of one had flown out from her home in Kilburn, north London, to visit her husband 48 hours before her body was found at his home in Costa de la Calma near Magaluf.
A post mortem showed her death was caused by asphyxia due to strangulation. Lyttle was arrested but told a remand hearing 24 hours later that his wife had choked to death by accident during sado-masochistic role-play.
Prosecutors did not believe him insisting he had strangled her with a phone cable. They demanded he was charged with murder and faced a 20year jail sentence.
Yesterday Lyttle admitted the lesser charge of homicide which carries a 12-year sentence.
The couple’s daughter Demmi Nicole, 21, has hired a lawyer to mount a prosecution to the state’s and is demanding £160,000 compensation from her dad.
Judge Carmen Gonzalez is due to deliver her sentence once the hearing has ended.
