Fellaini floored by KO
MAROUANE FELLAINI is out of Manchester United’s Champions League clash against CSKA Moscow.
The midfielder did not travel to Russia yesterday after picking up an ankle injury in the weekend win at Southampton.
The Belgian was hurt in a clash with Shane Long.
The striker was booked, but United are fuming Long wasn’t shown a red card for the challenge that will force Fellaini to miss tomorrow’s Group A game.
Boss Jose Mourinho has been told he will face no further action over his dismissal at St Mary’s.
The Old Trafford chief was sent to the stands by referee Craig Pawson late on in United’s 1-0 win for stepping on to the pitch.
Romelu Lukaku’s agent wants United fans to stop chanting about the striker’s manhood.
Mino Raiola reckons the controversial song is detracting from Lukaku’s
scoring achievements this season. United bosses have promised to take action against those fans found responsible for chanting the song, which is to the tune of ‘Made of Stone’ by the Stone Roses.
Lukaku, 24, had asked fans to ‘move on’ from the chant in the lead up to the game.
But his pleas were ignored at St Mary’s, where he scored the winner to take his United record to eight goals this season.
Raiola said: “We should be talking about Romelu’s performance as a player. At the moment, everyone is talking about the song.”
