LOVEBIRDS Prince Harry and Meghan Markle finally went public with their romance.

They sat side by side as they watched a tennis match at the Invictus Games in Toronto yesterday.

And they walked hand in hand together in the 30C sunshine as smitten Harry whispered in her ear.

It was a big moment in their courtship, which has lasted more than a year.

The 36-year-old American actress went casual in a white shirt, ripped jeans and sunglasses.

She looked completely at ease and gave no hint of nerves.

Proud

While Harry, 33, looked proud as punch in a black T-shirt branded with the Invictus Games logo.

He appeared to be explaining the finer points of wheelchair tennis as they discussed the Australia v New Zealand match they were watching.

Fans in the crowd looked on fascinated as they spotted the newly-announced couple on their first public engagement.

One said: “They were all smiles and looked so happy together.”

But as Harry mingled with VIPs, Meghan sat 18 seats away.

Harry has also paid a secret visit to the Toronto set of TV show Suits to watch Meghan in action filming a love scene.

Meanwhile, Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan shocked viewers yesterday when he referred to Meghan as the “person Prince Harry is having sex with”.

The couple had sat apart at the opening ceremony of the Games.

Motormouth Piers said: “It’s ridiculous. When have you ever been to a sporting event when you’re 50m from the person you’re having sex with?”

One viewer tweeted: “Just say partner or girlfriend.”
