Fresh cricket storm

CONTROVERSIAL cricketer Ben Stokes was hit by fresh scandal last night after a video emerged of him mocking Kate Price’s disabled son Harvey.

It shows the England ace mimicking the 15-year-old’s car crash Loose Women interview about online trolls, and even drops the C-bomb.

The sportsman looks directly into the camera and says, “Harvey, what do you say when people are being mean? Hello, you c***s.”

He and his pals then burst out laughing.

Fans blasted Stokes’ actions as “vile” last night.

The player was doing an impression of a May 2016 clip on the ITV panel show.

Former glamour girl Kate asked her blind son what he says to bullies who taunt him. He replied: “Hello, you c***.”

It is unclear when Stokes’ Snapchat clip was filmed.

Mother-of-five Kate, 39, gained more than 100,000 signatures on her petition to make online bullying a criminal offence. She said: “Trolling is a major problem in this day and age.

“People of all ages and background suffer every day, including my family – especially my son Harvey.”

Stokes’ new controversy emerged the same day he was suspended by England Cricket Board “until further notice” following a violent brawl which left a 27-year-old man with serious face injuries.

Video footage allegedly captured Stokes landing blows on a man in the Bristol street fight early on Monday. A pal is heard saying: “That’s enough, Stokesy.” Television host Piers Morgan claimed the vice-captain was actually defending two gay men from an armed attacker. The Good Morning Britain presenter, 52, tweeted yesterday: “I’m hearing that Ben Stokes intervened to help two gay guys who were being abused by yobs, one of whom was armed with a bottle. “Stokes has told friends, ‘The guy had a bottle in his hand & was threatening us, was I supposed to wait until he smashed it in my face?’” Police arrested Stokes but he was released without charge, pending further inquiries. The fight broke out at 2.35am in the Clifton area of Bristol near Mbargo, a club popular with students. Stokes claims it left him “fragile and devastated”. His indefinite suspension is a huge blow for England, with the Ashes due to start in November. The 26-year-old star’s teammate, Alex Hales, who was with him on the night, has also been dropped from international matches. The brawl happened just hours after England’s victory over the West Indies on Sunday. Officers said the area was busy with university freshers and asked anyone with footage to come forward. A Bristol police spokesman said: “A 26-year-old man was arrested and released under investigation. Anyone who witnessed any part of the incident, or who captured any footage of it, is asked to call 101.” A spokesman for Stokes was not available for comment and Kate’s representative did not respond last night.
