DAVID WOODS Swans can burst Slaven's bubble

POCH HAS GOT A TOUCH OF CLASS

-

I DON’T want to be accused of a Spurs love-in, but the north Londoners are handling themselves superbly of late.

It all seems to spread down from boss Mauricio Pochettino (right), who retains a warmth about him while also possessing clear authority.

On Sunday, Arsenal drew 0-0 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge but after the match not one player from either side made themselves available for speak to newspaper journalists.

That despite it being the Gunners’ best result at the Blues in six years.

Chatted

Contrast that with Tottenham. After their 3-2 win at West Ham, Eric Dier and Harry Kane both stopped to speak, even though boss Poch had already spoken to the daily papers.

On Tuesday, after defeating Apoel Nicosia in the Champions League, Kane chatted again. So did skipper and keeper Hugo Lloris.

Granted it is easy to stop and talk after good results, or five goals in Kane’s case, but they are showing a touch of class.

Kane, in particular, is always willing to stop and does not appear to do it grudgingly, unlike so many stars.

Reporters may not be loved by everyone. But hopefully fans appreciate we try to ask the questions they want answering and give some insight into the stars and clubs they adore.
