£45m Spurs star wants to join United
DANNY ROSE will snub Chelsea to join Manchester United instead next summer.
Starsport can reveal Rose has set his heart on leaving Tottenham for Old Trafford ahead of the World Cup in Russia. United boss Jose Mourinho has already made Rose one of his main targets and is confi- dent of landing the England star in a £45m deal. The Blues are also keen on Rose, but the left-back favours a move to United so that he can work for Mourinho.

Spurs expecting to challenge for trophies and unwilling to sell him mid-season to a rival.
A source said: “The lure of United is too strong. If he had a choice, he’d pick United hands down.”
Rose has not played since damaging knee ligaments against Sunderland in January.
He had surgery in May and is expected to return to training next week. While recovering from his operation, Rose stunned Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino (inset) when he criticised the club in an interview.
He insisted he would be open to offers from other clubs because he wants to be paid his true worth.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy fined him and made him issue a public apology.
Rose signed a new Spurs deal in September 2016, worth around £75,000 a week, but he can double his wages at Old Trafford. Mourinho has a problem at left-back and sees Rose as the solution. The manager has decided Luke Shaw is not up to scratch. He has made one League Cup appearance this season, with Ashley Young, Matteo Darmian, Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind all filling the role.
