Killer girlfriend

A WOMAN who violently abused her lesbian partner for several years was yesterday found guilty of her murder.

Becky Reid, 32, regularly kicked, punched and stamped on Lyndsey Vaux, 30, leaving her “looking like the elephant man”, Manchester Crown Court heard.

Experts said the mother-of-one died from the effects of multiple injuries inflicted by Reid over several months.

Reid, from Platt Bridge, Wigan, will be sentenced today.
