Greggs turned into nightclub
A GREGGS store was turned into a nightclub after a student asked bosses to help throw a party.
The high street bakery was kitted out with a sound system, lighting and confetti canons for the secret rave.
Student Nikki Gardner, 21, had asked the company on Facebook if it could host a celebration.
She had hoped to receive a couple of free pastries. But instead bosses organised a special one-night-only ® blowout – dubbed #MinistryofGreggs – at one of their Birmingham stores. Nikki said: “Me and my mates love Greggs so I just thought I’d ask. I never thought they’d reply, let alone actually throw the party.” The university student added: “They went to so much effort it was awesome. I would love to do it again.” Greggs said: “It was a one-off but who knows what the future holds.”
