Slim and sharp projector headlights sit below a huge, completely smooth bonnet and on each side of a vast mouth of a grille that looks like it could eat smaller cars. It’s a monster. BACKSIDE BEAUTY: Definitely pretty, with black capped smoked tail lights, but the two large exhaust pipes on each side suddenly look dated. Satnav, cruise control, twin zone climate control, rear parking sensors, heated door mirrors, auto lights and wipers, DAB stereo with steering wheel controls, Bluetooth, four USB points, iPod and aux connections. Don’t worry about locking it. It locks itself as soon as you walk away. Rear passengers get two USB points. Rear seatbacks fold down automatically by pulling two levers on each side of the boot... NAUGHTY NIGGLES: But size of the levers is at the expense of having shopping bag hooks. FAST OR LAST: Startlingly quick once you get it going and a superbly relaxed cruiser. WONGA WONDER: A huge amount of car and kit for the cash. WOULD CHANTELLE LIKE IT? Far too big for Chantelle, who’ll stick to her Fiesta.
