NEWBIE FIGHT BACK

-

1) Fight Back Pre-Flop -- If you have position on the raiser and pick up a better-than-average hand, think about throwing in a big re-raise. You know they’re trying to bully you out of the hand and there’s no way they can have big premium hands as often as they’re making out (that's not to say they don’t have it NOW though -- that's the risk in Poker!). 2) Trap Aggressive Players -- Slow-playing big hands against loose players can be a great tool to extract maximum profit. If you’re confident that you have the best hand, just keep value betting or calling and build up a nice pot that will soon be yours. Maniacs use aggression to try to control the game, exploiting any weaknesses they find. You’ve got to dictate the terms, play your own game, and make them pay before the flop when you have a strong hand.
