KING of grime music Wretch 32 would love to relaunch Cheryl Tweedy’s solo career.

He is eager to help Cheryl revamp her as an artist after reuniting with his former collaborator earlier this year at the Game 4 Grenfell football match. The Whistle hitmaker, real name Jermaine Sinclair, told me: “I saw her at the fundraiser for Grenfell Tower, we had a good little catch-up and it would be nice to do some work together.

“I have some ideas as well, I will reach out to her and see how she feels about them. “If there’s one thing I know it is music, man, and I’m definitely up for it. “Even if it’s not a feature but just writing, or working on some fresh ideas for new Cheryl music, I am up for that.” Jermaine’s new album FR32 has shot straight into the Top 10 in the official charts within days of its release – and he has more music on the way. The star confirmed he features on Emeli Sandé’s forthcoming EP Kingdom Coming.

“I’ve heard some of Emeli’s bits, she’s releasing an EP on the third of November and I feature on it, her stuff sounds great”, Wretch spilled.

FR32 is the MC’s fourth studio album, which proves he’s been releasing grime hits well before Stormzy, who he calls “the Wretch of today”.

He explained: “It’s just new blood, when the new kids come through it’s igniting the fire that was already lit.

“He is like the Wretch of today, and it spirals around it’s just one of those things.”
