NEW hunk Daniel MacPherson got a shock when he joined the show as he ended up getting slapped during rough sex scenes.

The ex-Neighbours and The Bill star plays Sergeant Samuel Wyatt, a new member of Section 20 – the unit working together to bring down international terrorists in the Sky1 drama.

However, it became more like “strike out” as his character gets to bed a string of women.

And, during some of their steamy romps, he begs some of them to slap him.

Daniel explained: “Wyatt gets a lot of sex scenes and a lot of naked action. And it hurt a bit.

“It’s quite rough. My ear was ringing more from those slaps than the gunshots.

“I just figured that all these guys spend too much time in control of what they do. They are strong, powerful men carrying weapons and inflicting a lot of damage and pain on other people.

“So I think maybe it’s about having the tables turned and being submissive to a beautiful woman.”

Although it may look racy on screen, Daniel claims that it was embarrassing to film, saying: “It is still the most awkward thing in the world.

“You’re standing there, stark naked with a little modesty sock with 10 of your mates on the camera crew there trying to do their jobs.”

¬ÊStrike Back starts on Sky 1 on October 31 at 9pm.

“TORY BOY” Elliot Van Emden has his sights on Number 10 after being fired from the BBC One show.

The legal firm owner worked in the Parliamentary office of ex-PM David Cameron in 2007 and even helped write his speeches.

Elliot is heading into politics by standing for the Conservatives as a councillor in Harrow next year and hopes this will lead to bigger things.

He said: “I would love to become an MP. As for Prime Minister? Well, I have high ambitions! I am political.

“On The Apprentice I talked about more care for the elderly and my business plan was linked to education.”

Elliot – who got the boot after his team flunked Lord Sugar’s robot task last night – said before the show that he would seek out “the morons and destroy them”.

After being axed, he joked: “You could say I was the moron, as I’m out.”
