COLEEN Rooney gave her drinkdriving husband the silent treatment on his birthday – by failing to send him one of her usual lovey-dovey messages.
The WAG normally marks Wayne’s birthdays with glowing public tributes on social media.
Last year she posted a collage of family photos on Instagram in celebration of his big day.
Alongside them she wrote: “Happy Birthday to my best friend! Love you xxx.’’
The year before she put up a photo of Wayne opening his presents with his sons on his 30th birthday with the simple message: “We love you loads xxx.’’
But following his drink-drive arrest, pregnant Coleen chose to spend his 32nd birthday 4,000 miles away in the Caribbean sun in Barbados with their three sons.
Yesterday none of her public social media accounts featured any congratulatory messages to Wayne, who was left alone in their £6million Manchester mansion.
The couple are said to be battling to save their marriage in the aftermath of Rooney’s drinkdrive bust last month.
The Everton striker was caught at the wheel of party girl Laura Simpson’s VW Beetle at 2am while Coleen was on holiday in Mallorca with their three sons.
Coleen, 31, stopped wearing her wedding ring before jetting off to Barbados for the half-term holiday. Rooney was banned from driving for two years and ordered to do 100 hours’ community service.
