COMIC David Walliams was last night accused of being a “racist” for dressing up as Kim Jong-un.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 46, wore false eyelids and makeup to mimic the North Korean dictator.

But fans blasted him over his getup at TV presenter Jonathan Ross’s annual Halloween bash.

And human rights campaigners accused him of being “deeply misguided”.

The Little Britain star sparked the storm after posting a picture to his 1.97million Twitter followers.

One tweeted: “How long is David Walliams going to be openly racist for and keep a career?” While another wrote: “And this is why I’m never buying any of his books. David Walliams was and still is a racist.” Walliams has regularly “blacked up” on Little Britain, wearing a fake nose and teeth as overweight black woman Desiree DeVere. The star has also dressed as a Japanese schoolgirl.

Human rights campaigners yesterday criticised his Halloween outfit. Michael Glendinning, director of the European Alliance for Human Rights in North Korea, said: “Mr Walliams’ costume was deeply misguided.

“This tendency to mock North Korea over its leadership is appalling.

“Such attitudes shift attention away from what the North Korean leadership is doing to its citizens.

“Mr Walliams should certainly apologise for his mistake.”

Comedian Alan Carr also courted controversy by dressing as a bloodied Gemma Collins at the same party. The get-up mimicked injuries the 36-year old Towie star alleged she suffered at the hands of an exboyfriend.

The Chatty Man presenter also wore a fat suit – even though the Essex girl has previously said fatshaming trolls left her too scared to leave the house or eat in public.

Meanwhile, X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger, 39, put on a revealing display as Cleopatra.

And Ed Sheeran, 26, opted for a pink fur coat as a ’70s hustler.

TV funnyman Michael McIntyre, 41, seemed to have lost an arm, while fellow joker John Bishop, 50, mimicked Uncle Fester from The Addams family.

A spokesman for Walliams failed to comment last night.
