Q PEARSON’S

UNLIKELY as it seems Manchester City have beaten Arsenal just once in nine games.

But Pep Guardiola’s team look the best side in Europe at present and should City win tomorrow they’ll be eight points clear of neighbours United and 12 ahead of Chelsea before the two take the field at Stamford Bridge in the later televised kick-off.

With John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi striking in Naples in midweek and Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling playing out of their skins, Guardiola’s biggest worry is who he will start with up front – record scorer Sergio Aguero, the brilliant Gabriel Jesus or both?

City are 2-5, Arsenal 13-2 and the draw is 22-5.

Arsenal may score and Alexis Sanchez will want to impress against a side he could be playing for next term. But City have scored 20 in their last four home league games and Arsenal may have no answer to the mix of pace, flair and desire. Go for City to win and both teams to score at 11-8.

City are 5-1 with us to win the Champions League behind 4-1 favourites PSG. It is many years since the favourites in our winning nationality market for the Champions League were from the Premier League, but we bet 7-4 that an English side lifts the trophy. Chelsea have lost just one of their last 15 league home games to Manchester United and Antonio Conte will expect to see a positive reaction after Tuesday’s 3-0 thumping in Rome. Events at the Etihad may decide what frame of mind United boss Jose Mourinho takes into the game – if City win, can he afford to park the bus as he did at Anfield? Chelsea are 6-4 with United and the draw both 21-10. It is tight to call, with Alvaro Morata having a quiet spell for Chelsea and United’s Romelu Lukaku averaging a goal every 295 minutes against the “big six” in the league. Chelsea have already lost twice at home this season and look vulnerable so go for a 1-0 away win (15-2). Go to BetVictor.com
