1D’S frenemy Naughty Boy is plotting to reunite one of the biggest boybands in the world.

NB believes he can get the Jonas Brothers back together after working with Joe Jonas on his new single.

The producer, who famously divided One Direction fans by helping launch Zayn Malik’s solo career, told me: “I would love to bring them back as a band one day – do not rule that out. I know those brothers are close and support each other. I found out that they are really into MMA (mixed martial arts).

“I was surprised they are into that sport and quite active in it, maybe that’s the way it will happen.”

The Jonas Brothers, right, came to fame via the Disney Channel before ruling charts over the world until they split in 2013.

All the brothers are enjoying solo success including Joe, who sings on NB’s new single Last Chance To Dance.

He said: “It’s Joe’s first single as a solo artist. Although he’s been a Jonas Brother and has a big fanbase with DNCE, he’s so cool and has a great voice, and it makes sense for him to be making music with someone new.” Was younger sibling Nick Jonas a little jealous that Naughty Boy had asked Joe to sing on his song? “I’m a big fan of Nick too,” said NB, inset. “We can get Nick on the remix.”

The producer is also working with a host of young UK talent for his next album too. He added: “I’m working with Nadia Rose on something too.
