JEZZA SACKS PREZZA’S ‘SEXPEST’ SON DAVID

- By JACK ANDREWS news@dailystar.co.uk

ONE of Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn’s closest advisors has been suspended over allegations of sexual harassment.

David Prescott, son of ex-Deputy Prime Minister and Labour stalwart John Prescott, was stood down after complaints about his conduct.

Mr Prescott is the main speechwriter for the leader of the Opposition and a key member of his inner circle.

As shadow cabinet communications manager, he helps Mr Corbyn prepare for Prime Minister’s Questions.

Mr Prescott has also been credited with improving his image and such a key figure being caught up in the sleaze scandal sweeping Westminster is a personal blow for Mr Corbyn.

News of the undisclosed allegations came after his Labour elder statesman dad shared a post from Mr Corbyn, praising victims for coming forward.

The post said: “Speaking out about rape and sexual harassment takes enormous courage.”

Prescott senior, 79, is no stranger to controversy himself. Linda McDougall, wife of ex-Labour MP Austin Mitchell, claimed he pushed her “quite forcefully” against a wall and put his hand up her skirt in 1978.

He was famously labelled “Two Jags” by the media for owning two Jaguar cars while in office.

Prezza admitted to an affair with his secretary between 2002 and 2004, costing him his department and earning him the nickname “Two S***s”.

When farmer Craig Evans threw an egg at him during election campaigning in Rhyl, Denbighs, in 2001, “Two Jabs”, an amateur boxer, responded with a straight left to the jaw.

Prescott Jr, 47 stood as a Labour candidate in the 2015 General Election but lost after being refused a run at a safe seat by the party.

He was removed from his position at some point in the last few days.

Labour has not directly commented.
