SAM’S DOUBLE FEAR

- By JAMES CANDY

SAM VOKES is worried he could lose both his bosses.

The 28-year-old Wales striker fears the prospect of losing national coach Chris Coleman and Burnley’s Sean Dyche by the time he has faced France and Panama over the international break.

Vokes, who will lead the line in Paris tomorrow, is desperate to avoid change at club and country.

He said: “I see the similarities with Burnley and Wales.

“You can see them with the manager and the squad. We are very close, best of mates, that comes from the manager. Chris is the glue that holds us together. “We’ve been reading about his future in the media but we’ve come into camp and been preparing for Friday as usual. “There’s been a lot of talk with the gaffer at Burnley as well and rightly so because with success comes a lot of recognition. “And for us he’s moved Burnley on to a huge place from when I joined, on and off the field. I hope he stays.” HARRY ARTER believes Ireland’s “will to win” will be enough to beat Denmark to a place at the World Cup finals.

Martin O’Neill’s side tackle the Danes in Copenhagen on Saturday with the return leg in Dublin on Tuesday night.

Bournemouth playmaker Arter said: “The will to win is unbelievable.

“With the same mindset as we had against Wales, we can achieve what we want.”
