A NEW telly show may unmask the identity of a serial killer who has eluded police for 50 years.
In the late 1960s and early ’70s a murderer dubbed The Zodiac Killer terrorised northern California.
He shot or stabbed at least four men and three women between the ages of 16 and 29, then sent teasing cryptic messages and codes made up of ancient and modern symbols to the media.
So far no-one has cracked the code and he was never caught.
But now, in a new five-part series, a team of detectives and codebreakers attempts to crack them and name the infamous Zodiac Killer once and for all.
