BOXER Amir Khan has vowed to knock his life back into shape after jetting off to the I’m A Celebrity jungle.

The former world champ reckons the show will prove a huge boost following marriage woes.

Meanwhile troubled Ant McPartlin, right, was “feeling great” ahead of his Aussie reunion with sidekick Declan Donnelly.

BOXER Amir Khan vowed to become a knockout with the public last night as he arrived in Australia for I’m A Celeb.

The former king of the ring said he wants to use the Jungle to kickstart his boxing comeback.

Amir – who has been dogged by a series of recent cheating claims – also hopes to boost his image.

ITV bosses pulled off a massive coup in signing up the former unified lightwelterweight world champion.

And the Bolton lad swaggered into Brisbane airport boasting he would use his time on the reality show to relaunch his career.

Despite the fact contestants are often left close to starving in the Jungle, Amir insists he will stay in prizefighting shape while in the camp ahead of a series of huge money-spinning fights next year.

Amir, 30, said: “I want to fight three times next year.

“King of the Jungle? I don’t know about that yet but king of the ring suits me better.

“I am always training and I am gonna be training in the Jungle too.

“My first fight in 2018 is going to be in February, then again just before Ramadan in April.”

He lost his last fight to Canelo Álvarez in May last year and he had vowed to return by the end of 2017. It means he will now have only two months to get in shape if he goes the distance in the Jungle. The fighter has just got back with his wife Faryal after a dramatic year where they split after cheating claims on both sides. They also had a series of very public bust-ups online, including when furious Amir falsely accused Faryal of cheating on him with heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua. But they reconciled just before he jetted off to Oz after “sorting out all the issues”. He left four months’ pregnant Faryal at home with their three-year-old daughter Lamaisah. “I always miss my daughter whenever I am away,” Amir said. “I love her to bits and I’ve just been with her. It is just going to be a nice break.” The 2004 Olympic gold medal winner has previously admitted to being terrified of spiders, saying: “If I see one in my bedroom, I have to call my whole family to take it out and even then I won’t sleep there.” But yesterday he declared: “I am not scared of anything.”
