Acid rap suspect in Africa

A MAN suspected of attacking British travel rep Ellie Chessell with acid is thought to be in a Ugandan jail.

Police are checking he is their suspect Edmundo Helder Rodrigues Fonseca.

Ellie’s ex Claudio Gouveia was arrested three weeks after the May attack on the 29-year-old near the hotel where she worked in Portugal.

But police believed the “hitman” he allegedly hired was still at large.
