TELLY star Scarlett Moffatt has told of her love for Jungle host Ant McPartlin – describing him and sidekick Dec as “my heroes”.

She opened her heart to the Daily Star about the lads before taking over the I’m A Celebrity spin-off show Extra Camp.

ANT McPartlin has reinvented himself as a father figure on the set of I’m A Celebrity.

The presenter, who has battled prescription drug addiction, has taken Extra Camp spin-off host Scarlett Moffatt under his wing.

Telly novice Scarlett revealed presenter Declan Donnelly is helping her too .

She told the Daily Star: “They just said, ‘be you’, which coming from them, when they are my absolute heroes, gives me the confidence to just be me.

“If they have faith in me, I must be doing something half decent.”

The 27-year-old added: “It’s like my mum and dad are here.”

Ant, 41, first met Scarlett when she won the show in 2016 and gave her a first presenting role on Saturday Night Takeaway earlier this year.

And as soon as Ant and Dec arrived on the Jungle set, they went looking for the bubbly ex-Gogglebox star for an emotional reunion.

Scarlett said: “I had a little knock on my trailer and I was like ‘I know that knock’. I just had this special feeling.”

Ant’s fatherly display comes after he revealed he and wife Lisa Armstrong had struggled to conceive a child of their own.

He said earlier this year: “We would love to have a family. If we’re blessed with children, then we’d be over the moon.”

Scarlett, who will host ITV2’s Extra Camp with Joe Swash and Joel Dommett, also revealed she hopes the leg-up from Ant and Dec could help her land her own TV show.

She said: “I would love having my own chat show.

“I am nosey and if you say everything with a smile then people tell you more information.”
