MODEL Sally Anne Bowman’s killer is set to die behind bars after he was handed two more life sentences for sex attacks.

Mark Dixie, 47, was ordered to serve at least 34 years when he was first caged for life in 2008.

He had stabbed the 18-year-old before raping her as she lay dying in the street yards from her front door.

Yesterday he was given two more life terms for sex attacks on two other women.

He was ordered to serve at least four more years on top of his existing stretch, meaning he will not be eligible for release until he is 75.

An innocent man served 12 years in jail in Spain for rapes which Dixie was later found to have committed, when DNA evidence came to light.

Yesterday, Dutchman Romano van der Dussen, 41, who had his convictions quashed last year, said: “He ruined my life. If the Spanish police had done their job Sally Anne would be alive today.”

The two life terms given yesterday followed Dixie’s confession four months ago that he raped one woman in a car park in 1987 – when he was just 16 – and indecently assaulted another after smashing her over the head with a weapon in 2002.

He pleaded guilty to two rapes and grievous bodily harm via videolink at Southwark Crown Court.

Dixie had a string of other previous convictions ranging from burglary to indecent exposure. Zoe Johnson QC, prosecuting, said this revealed an “escalating pattern of violence towards women coupled with sexual depravity”.
